She's in the Game She's In The Game is a new, groundbreaking multimedia platform, dedicated to celebrating the rise of women's sports. With female athletics gaining unprecedented popularity, She's In The Game introduces the next generation of superstar female athletes to the country. Each month, She's In The Game goes beyond the scoreboard to shine the Spotlight on one incredible local Oklahoma female athlete, showcasing not only their exceptional athletic achievements but also their passions and pursuits off the field/court. Our mission is to inspire young women everywhere by highlighting role models who excel both in competition and in life. She's In The Game features/honors one local female athlete each month in a 2:30 minute story that runs on our local station partner. •60 & 30 second athlete recognition spotlights also run as promotional content in news and sports. In September, the She's In The Game 30 minute television program will debut and air each week on News 9. Event Purpose and Athlete Spotlight She's In The Game features/honors Avery Hjelmstad and Janiyah Williams, this month's She's In The Game Spotlight recipient. They are standouts on the basketball court who form one of the best hoops tandems in the state! Soon, Hjelmstad will continue her journey at Utah, while Williams heads up to Oregon! This event celebrates their achievements and supports the next generation of female athletes, Oklahoma Chevy Team Dealers, in partnership with She's In The Game, is proud to present a $5,000 donation to the Edmond Memorial women's athletic department. $5,000 Award to Women's Athletic Department In recognition of our She's In The Game Spotlight, the Oklahoma Chevy Team Dealers is proud to present a $5,000 donation to the women's athletic department at Edmond Memorial High School.
